Coffs City Mission through its retail outlet at heartbeat Market has been helping the community across the Coffs Coast since 1989 and is the welfare arm of heartbeat Church. We assist people in desperate need with free furniture, clothing, electrical items, household goods, fridges, dryers, washing machines, TV's, etc. (Note: some items not always in stock - depending on the generosity of donors). All welfare assistance is done through interview with the prospective client to ascertain their exact needs. We make a point of not making people feel embarrassed or just 'like a number' and recipients are met in the privacy of our City Care office located in Park Avenue in Central Coffs Harbour. Clients are referred to us through other agencies and will need a Centerlink Card for processing applications.

For emergency assistance, please call our head office: 02 6652 6282.

To be able to continue our free welfare services to the Coffs Coast through Coffs City Mission, we also sell new and preloved products. Sales enable the necessities such as rent, utilities and management staff to be paid. The majority of personnel at Coffs City Mission are volunteers. Without their help we would not have been able to serve the public with emergency welfare assistance for the past 28 years.
